PSY’s Chinese Version of ‘FATHER’ is #1 on QQ Music

World star PSY’s Chinese version of his song “Father” is becoming viral in China.
PSY’s song in the local language was unveiled on March 26 on China’s largest music site QQ Music that has 800 million users. With the exclusive distribution of QQ Music, PSY’s song topped the chart in just 2 days.
The chart PSY topped is the QQ Trend Index, which announces the statistics of dynamic range of one week’s streaming number. As of 11 am on March 28, PSY’s “Father” recorded 1.87 million streaming on QQ Music.
In 24 hours it rose by 92% and 61% in 48, proving its enormous popularity in China.
The Chinese version of “Father” became even more sentimental with the beautiful piano sound added by the world-renown pianist Lang Lang.
PSY and Lang Lang first met for the collaboration of PSY’s track “Champion” for the opening of 2014 Incheon Asian Games on Sept 19 last year.
PSY was awarded the most influential global artist at the 2015 QQ Music Awards held on March 25 at the Shenzhen Sports Center, and unveiled the Chinese version of “Father” for the first time. He moved the hearts of the 7,000 audience by dedicating the song to all the fathers of the era.
