In Thursday's episode of the Soul Broadcasting System program "Cultwo Show," Rain recalled an initial meeting with Willis that the "Die Hard" star apparently did not.Like Us on Facebook
"I met Bruce Willis for the first time at a bar," Rain said.
"I froze when I saw him since I grew up as fan of 'Die Hard.' But he gave me a tight hug when he saw me. I was really happy then."
However, the next day Rain's new BFF turned out to be more of a WTF.
"I think he must have had some alcohol that day, because when he saw me again the next day, he said, 'nice to meet you' as if he saw me for the first time," Rain said.
Back in March, the 59-year actor told a GQ reporter that after decades of sobriety he had decided he could trust himself to indulge in alcohol in moderation.
"I had been sober [for a while]," Willis said.
"But once I realized that I wasn't going to run myself off the pier of life with alcohol, drinking vodka out of the bottle every day...I have wine now, mostly when I eat."
In "The Prince," Willis and Rain will perform alongside a star-studded cast including Jason Patric, John Cusack and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.
The film, which has an estimated $10 million budget according to the Hollywood Reporter, has reportedly been in production in Alabama since early December.
According to Deadline, Willis plays the character of Omar in "The Prince," a man looking to settle a score with a former mob enforcer, played by Patric.
Singer turned actor Rain, whose new album "Rain Effect" was released on Thursday, is best known in Hollywood for his lead roles in the Wachowskis films "Speed Racer" and "Ninja Assassin."
