In “Angry Mom,” Kim Hee Sun was sympathetic towards Ji Soo who was in the world of organized crime.
On the 4th episode of MBC Wednesday/Thursday miniseries “Angry Mom” (script Kim Ban Di, director Choi Byung Gil) broadcast on Mar. 26th, Jo Kang Ja (played by Kim Hee Sun) brought Ko Bok Dong (played by Ji Soo) to the restaurant that she operated and fed her.
Before this, Kim Hee Sun learned that the reason that Ko Bok Dong had tortured her daughter Oh Ah Ran (played by Kim Yoo Jung) was none other than because of the orders of Ahn Dong Chil (played by Kim Hee Won). Ahn Dong Chil was related to the reason that Jo Kang Ja had to go to a juvenile facility and thus was in a bad relationship with Jo Gang Ja.
Jo Gang Ja said to Ko Bok Dong, “I”m going to ask three things to you. Why did you do this to Ah Ran? Are you going to continue to do this to Ah Ran? And why are you under a garbage like human like Ahn Dong Chil?”
Ko Bok Dong said, “It”s because I too am garbage. So don”t act up. I can send you down to the valley,” she warned.

Both the comedic and dramatic sides of the show have a talented cast portraying them and this is really the biggest good point of the series at this point in time. Lee Dong-geon and Lee Yoo-ri are doing great with the extremely problematic material they are given, Lee Re is a delight and seeing a world lacking in the typical rich heirs or cool and mean-spirited jealous second leads is a pleasant change in itself. The series is also very fair in its focus between its two leads and there is some potential with the second leads and secondary characters, who are rooted enough into the leads" lives to surely matter down the road.
